Description
The CANIK VOID-556K (MPN: CASU0003) is the compact 5.56-caliber model in the VOID rifle-suppressor family, developed with Otter Creek Labs for shooters who want to reduce overall length while retaining stainless-steel construction, HUB compatibility, and configurable end-cap performance. The suppressor uses heat-treated 17-4 stainless steel with a high-temperature black Cerakote finish.
At 5.1 inches long, 1.625 inches in diameter, and 12.3 ounces, the VOID-556K is one inch shorter and lighter than the full-size VOID-556. It includes a 1/2x28 direct-thread adapter, a solid end cap, and a low-back-pressure end cap. The standard 1.375x24 HUB rear interface supports compatible alternative direct-thread and QD mounting systems. CANiK lists a 7.5-inch minimum barrel length for 5.56x45mm and a 10.5-inch minimum for 6mm ARC and similar cartridges.
