Description
The CANIK VOID-556 (MPN: CASU0002) is a 5.56-caliber rifle suppressor developed with Otter Creek Labs around durable stainless-steel construction, industry-standard HUB mounting, and configurable gas behavior. CANiK builds the suppressor from heat-treated 17-4 stainless steel and finishes it in high-temperature black Cerakote for hard-use rifle applications.
The full-size VOID-556 measures 6.1 inches long, 1.625 inches in diameter, and weighs 14.9 ounces. It includes a 1/2x28 direct-thread adapter plus both a solid end cap and a low-back-pressure end cap, allowing the user to choose between maximum sound suppression and reduced gas blowback depending on the host rifle. The rear of the suppressor uses 1.375x24 HUB threads for compatibility with a wide range of aftermarket mounting systems. CANiK lists a 7.5-inch minimum barrel for 5.56x45mm and additional restrictions for 6mm ARC and similar cartridges.
