Description
The SureFire SOCOM556-MINI2 is the compact 5.56mm model in SureFire’s traditional SOCOM Fast-Attach suppressor line. Built for carbines where every inch of added length matters, the MINI2 keeps the proven mounting architecture and hard-use construction of the larger SOCOM suppressors while reducing overall length and weight for a handier rifle.
Compact High-Temperature Alloy Construction
The SOCOM556-MINI2 measures approximately 5.0 inches long, 1.5 inches in diameter, and weighs about 15 ounces. SureFire uses high-temperature alloy and stainless-steel components joined for durability under demanding rifle use. The exterior uses protective Ionbond/Cerakote-type finishes depending on the component and color configuration, while the parent product is offered in Black and Dark Earth variants.
Fast-Attach Mounting & 14.5-Inch+ Optimization
The suppressor mounts to compatible SureFire SOCOM Fast-Attach muzzle devices, including supported flash hiders and muzzle brakes. SureFire specifically optimizes the MINI2 around 14.5-inch or longer 5.56 barrels, where its short format delivers a useful balance of flash, sound, and blast reduction without turning a carbine into an excessively long system. It is also full-auto rated for hard-use applications.
