Description
The SureFire SOCOM762-Ti2 is a lightweight 7.62mm titanium rifle suppressor developed for precision and field rifles where preserving balance is a priority. It uses the same SOCOM Fast-Attach mounting concept found across SureFire’s rifle-suppressor line but replaces the heavier high-temperature alloy construction of hard-use models with a titanium architecture focused on reduced muzzle weight.
Titanium Construction & Low Muzzle Weight
The SOCOM762-Ti2 measures approximately 7.9 inches long, 1.5 inches in diameter, and weighs about 11 ounces. That combination makes it dramatically lighter than the full-size SOCOM762-RC2 while maintaining a full-length suppressor body for .308/7.62 applications. The titanium construction is particularly well suited to bolt-action, hunting, and precision rifles where a heavy suppressor can noticeably change the feel and balance of the firearm.
SOCOM Fast-Attach Compatibility
The Ti2 mounts to compatible SureFire SOCOM muzzle devices through the company’s Fast-Attach interface, giving the user a secure, repeatable mounting system rather than a fixed direct-thread configuration. The design is intended for 7.62/.308-class rifle use, but unlike SureFire’s heavier combat-oriented steel/alloy suppressors, the titanium Ti2 is not positioned as a sustained full-auto model.
