Radical Firearms 16-Inch 5.56 NATO AR-15 with RPR Rail

The Radical Firearms FR16-5.56SOC-15RPR combines a 16-inch SOCOM-profile barrel with a mid-length gas system and a 15-inch RPR free-float handguard. Forged 7075-T6 aluminum upper and lower receivers form the core of the rifle, while B5 furniture provides an adjustable stock and ergonomic grip for range, training and general-purpose use.

Barrel and operating system

The 4140 chrome moly vanadium barrel has a Melonite finish, 1:7 twist and 1/2x28 muzzle threads. An A2 flash hider is installed at the muzzle. The mid-length direct-impingement system uses a low-profile .750-inch gas block beneath the free-float rail. The 15-inch M-LOK handguard supplies ample mounting space without applying accessory pressure directly to the barrel.
