Unlike "parts kit" 9mm ARs, the FX-9 Elite is engineered from the ground up as a PCC (Pistol Caliber Carbine) platform. It features a functioning last-round bolt hold open (LRBHO) and utilizes a proprietary, shortened 7075-T6 aluminum receiver set that reduces overall weight and length. The blowback system is fine-tuned with a weighted bolt and buffer system to ensure smooth, reliable operation with a wide variety of 9mm ammunition.
