The Diamondback DB-15 (DB1717K005) is a highly versatile, American-made AR-15 pattern rifle designed for personal defense, range training, and tactical applications. Engineered for rugged performance, this carbine balances value, duty-grade dependability, and top-tier features straight out of the factory box.

Precision Barrel & High-Performance Gas System

At the heart of the DB-15 is a 16-inch 4150 Chrome-Moly Vanadium (CrMoV) medium-contour barrel with a 1:8 Right-Hand Twist Rate and a Black Nitride finish. This barrel profile provides the ultimate balance between heat management and weight reduction, while the 1:8 twist accurately stabilizes a wide variety of grain weights—from lightweight 55gr plinking ammo to heavier 77gr match rounds. Driven by a carbine-length gas system with a pinned gas block, the rifle delivers steady, reliable cycling without excessive recoil.

Heavy-Duty Construction & Mil-Spec Components

Built to endure heavy volume shooting, the upper receiver is forged from 7075-T6 aluminum featuring a flattop design with T-markings for easy optic placement. The lower receiver is precision-machined from 7075-T6 aluminum and houses a standard, clean-breaking Mil-Spec trigger setup.

To ensure cycling reliability under demanding conditions, the Bolt Carrier Group (BCG) is constructed from Mil-Spec 8620 steel, shot-peened, and Magnetic Particle Inspected (MPI).

Modularity & Ergonomics

• 15-Inch M-LOK Free-Float Rail: Extends almost the full length of the barrel, offering maximum real estate for mounting weapon lights, red dots, magnifiers, and foregrips, while freeing up the barrel for optimal free-float accuracy.

• Magpul Furniture Package: Outfitted with factory-upgraded Magpul MOE Pistol Grip for improved hand control and a collapsible Magpul MOE Carbine Stock to easily adjust the length-of-pull for any shooter or gear configuration.

• Muzzle & Accessories: Features a standard A2 Flash Hider mounted on 1/2x28 threads and includes (1) 30-round Magpul PMAG Gen M2 magazine.
